Sasquatch dreamed of hitting the open road, feeling the wind in his fur, taking in the sights, and maybe even stopping at a drive-thru for a snack. But life in the deep woods had one major flaw: no roads, no highways, and definitely no getaway ferry.
Then that fateful day on Guemes Island, he spotted it—the answer to his dilemma. Not a sports car. Not a motorcycle. But something even better… a tractor.
With the ferry out of commission and no roads to cruise, he saw only one option—get moving and start mowing. One field became two, two became four, and before he knew it, Sasquatch had carved his path, one freshly cut acre at a time.
And thus, Grasskwach Me was born. No edging, no fancy landscaping—just a Sasquatch, his tractor, and an unstoppable urge to drive. His only form of transportation, and since there is no grass bridge on the island, the island he will remain!
Got grass? He’ll mow it. Got weeds? He might get the inclination to weed-whack a few. But don’t push it—he’s mostly here to drive the tractor and mow. But one thing’s for sure—once Sasquatch starts mowing, he doesn’t stop.
"We’ll Mow It Down—No Sasquatchin' Around!"
Sasquatch doesn’t punch a clock—he works on island-ish time, which means he’s out mowing when the urge strikes. Seven days a week? Sure. But predictable hours? Not a chance.
Pinning him down for a job takes strategy. The best approach? Tell him the grass is way too tall and there’ll be hours of glorious tractor driving. That usually does the trick… though you still might get an “ish” time.
So if you need mowing, don’t ask when—just trust that when Sasquatch and his tractor get the itch, your grass won’t stand a chance.
Sasquatch has a delicate balance to maintain—mowing grass and disappearing into the wilderness when the mood strikes. At the moment, his schedule is full, and he is not accepting new clients. He still needs time to roam, reflect, and visit his wildlife friends.
It’s nothing personal. It’s just that if he spends too much time on the tractor, he starts missing the peace of the deep woods.
